CFEC's New Home Energy Evaluation.

Have your home evaluated by one of our qualified energy advisors. Members can be assured the home is built to save energy. From start to finish, our advisor will help educate you on energy efficiency measured needed to make you more comfortable while saving money on your energy bill.  New Homes Energy Efficiency Measures

 

  • Cost savings from properly installed insulation in the crawlspace, walls and attic.
  • Install high efficiency heating and cooling system
  • Proper duct sealing and insulation
  • Use energy efficient rated doors and windows
  • Infiltration Sealing (see insulation guidelines)

 

All Electric Appliances

  • Use Energy Star™ Water heater, dishwasher, refrigerator, freezer, and clothes dryer

Windows

  • The windows should not exceed 15% of the exterior conditioned wall area. Windows should have thermal breaks accomplished by thermal pane windows.
