CFEC's Response to COVID-19

A Message From General Manager Bill Rogers:

CFEC realizes that many of our members may soon face financial hardships as a result of the Coronavirus (COVID-19)'s negative affects on the economy and we want you to know that Caney Fork has taken the following measures to help our members effective Monday March 23rd, 2020.

. We are suspending disconnections of service for nonpayment of electric bill.
. We are waiving all late fees and penalties associated with nonpayment of electric bill.
. These measures will remain in place through Thursday, April 30th and will be re-evaluated at that time.

Please understand that these measures do not imply that bills will not have to be paid or will be forgiven; they are just a way that we hope will help members through any financial difficulties they may face. As our service area returns to its normal state, CFEC will work with our members who are behind on their bills as a result of being impacted by COVID-19 and will help members devise a payment plan to bring their accounts current. This being said, we encourage our members to keep their accounts as current as possible so they will not face large past due amounts in the future.

As we have done for almost 80 years, CFEC is here to serve our members by providing efficient, affordable electricity and we will continue to do so. If you need us, please feel free to contact us at 931-473-3116 or 1-888-505-3030 or any of our offices.
